Week 5
This week we were putting our finishing touches on everything we needed for our product. The week before Thanksgiving break we put 12 boneless wings in the freezer to store until after the break. The first time the whole group met up was on Wednesday to discuss our nutritional label and the status of our eportfolio. We spent 4 hours discussing what we must do to be completely prepared for the presentation. This time was spent very well and we made the eportfolio look nice. We decided to split the presentation amongst our members. Kent will introduce our team, title, and discuss the history of our product. Chandler will tell about the description of the product. Zach is going to talk about the ingredients and our methods. Autumn will talk about the price of our product. I will talk about the packaging, preservation, and cooking methods we advise the public to use. When we arrived at the kitchen on Thursday the first thing we did was take out the frozen chicken and put them in the oven. We cooked them at 350 for 8 minutes. They turned out good, but we are going to freeze some more and try again, but instead of baking them, just a short time in the fryer. After we made some more product we took them around the building and had some faculty and grad students review our product. They liked it very much here are the results. Overall I would say this week was very successful.
